Waterboxer Engine Gasket Kit - Victor Reinz

This Victor Reinz full engine gasket set is a German-made, OEM-quality solution for rebuilding 1900cc and 2100cc Waterboxer petrol engines fitted to Volkswagen Type 25 / T3 buses. Please note: Crankshaft oil seals are not included and must be ordered separately if required.

Important fitting notes – required sealants

Correct sealant choice is critical on Waterboxer engines:

• Black sealant – D176404A2

  • For the main rubber water jacket seals

• Yellow sealant – AKD456000A2

  • For the cylinder head nuts

Additional tubes of sealant are available separately and should be ordered as required.

Using the correct sealants is essential to avoid coolant leaks and ensure a successful rebuild.
