Due to differences in engine positioning and sump arrangement on Syncro vehicles, the oil dipstick length and calibration differ from standard 2WD models. Using the correct Syncro dipstick is essential—fitting a non-Syncro version will result in inaccurate oil level readings, which can lead to overfilling or running with insufficient oil.
