40mm X 8mm Valve - Waterboxer Inlet Valve (Not DF or EY)

This replacement inlet valve is designed for VW Type 25 / T3 buses fitted with 1900cc and 2100cc Waterboxer (WBX) petrol engines using the larger 40mm inlet valve specification. Manufactured to exacting standards by IVAM (Italy), it is a high-quality OE-style replacement ideal for engine rebuilds, cylinder head refurbishment, or replacing worn or damaged valves.

The inlet valve controls the flow of the air/fuel mixture into the combustion chamber. Correct valve diameter, stem size, and length are critical to ensure proper sealing, airflow, and valve train geometry. This valve features a 40mm head to support the higher-flow WBX heads and an 8mm stem with the correct 122.46mm stem length and 3-groove keeper configuration, ensuring compatibility with the specified Waterboxer cylinder heads.

Important Fitment Note:
