This top-quality reproduction valve adjusting screw is used to set the tappet (valve clearance) on VW Type 4 aircooled engines and Waterboxer engines. It is an essential component for ensuring accurate valve timing and proper engine performance on a range of Volkswagen models.
Specifically designed for use on:
1800cc and 2000cc Type 4 aircooled engines (does not fit 1700cc models) as fitted in VW Baywindow Buses from 1973 to 1979
1900cc Waterboxer engines (1985–1992) and 2100cc Waterboxer engines (1989–1992) used in VW T25 / T3 Buses
Each screw is manufactured to exacting standards to match original VW specifications and offers durable, reliable performance under heat and pressure. These screws thread into the rocker arms and are used to precisely adjust valve lash during a standard tappet adjustment procedure.
Sold individually, with 8 required per engine (one for each valve).
