This Genuine Volkswagen inlet rocker arm is the correct replacement part for 2000cc Type 4 aircooled engines fitted to late Baywindow vans and aircooled Type 25 / T3 buses. Supplied as new old stock, this rocker arm represents the highest level of quality available, manufactured by Volkswagen to original factory specifications.

The rocker arm is a vital component of the valve train, transferring motion from the pushrod to the inlet valve. As the camshaft rotates, the pushrod moves upward, pivoting the rocker arm to open the inlet valve and allow the air-fuel mixture into the combustion chamber. Accurate rocker geometry is essential for correct valve timing, smooth engine operation, and long-term durability.

This inlet rocker arm is designed specifically for 2000cc Type 4 engines and must not be used on 1700cc or 1800cc engines, as these engines use different rocker components. It is intended for use with 10mm valve tappet adjusting screws, ensuring correct valve clearance adjustment and proper contact with the valve stem.
