Type 4 Heat Exchanger Air Inlet Cover Plate - Right

This right-hand air inlet cover plate is designed to fit the right-side heat exchanger on Volkswagen Type 4 aircooled engines, as fitted to Baywindow Buses with 1700cc, 1800cc and 2000cc engines. On RHD vehicles, this is the driver side cover plate.

The air inlet cover plate is a key component in maintaining correct airflow through the heat exchanger and heater system. It seals and protects the air inlet on the heat exchanger, ensuring that cooling air is channelled correctly through the exchanger rather than escaping or drawing in dirt and debris.
