Type 4 Heat Exchanger Air Inlet Cover Plate - Left

This left-hand air inlet cover plate is designed to fit the left-side heat exchanger on Volkswagen Type 4 aircooled engines as fitted to Baywindow Buses with 1700cc, 1800cc and 2000cc engines. On RHD vehicles, this is the passenger side cover plate.

The air inlet cover plate plays an important role in the engine’s heating and airflow management system. It covers and protects the air inlet on the heat exchanger, ensuring that cooling air is directed correctly through the exchanger rather than escaping or drawing in debris.
