Type 4 Pushrod Tube Seal (Large End Of Pushrod) - Top Quality

This large pushrod tube seal is designed for all Volkswagen Type 4 air-cooled engines in 1700cc, 1800cc, and 2000cc form. It is used on Baywindow Buses, air-cooled Type 25 (T3) Buses, and Porsche 914 models fitted with Type 4 engines.

The large pushrod tube seal fits at the cylinder head end of the pushrod tube and is responsible for creating a tight, oil-resistant seal between the pushrod tube and the cylinder head. Its role is critical in preventing engine oil from leaking externally and ensuring that the pushrod tube remains correctly positioned during engine operation.

Manufactured to top-quality German standards, this seal is made from durable, oil-resistant rubber to withstand heat, vibration, and long-term exposure to engine oil. Hardened or damaged seals are a common cause of oil leaks on Type 4 engines, and replacement is strongly recommended whenever pushrod tubes are removed or replaced.
