Baywindow Bus Gearbox O-Ring - 1978-79 (Also Type 25 Gearbox O-Ring)

This gearbox differential output flange O-ring is designed for use on all Type 25 (T3) models from 1979–1992 and very late Baywindow Buses from August 1978 to 1979. It is located between the bearing ring and the outer securing clip on each driveshaft flange, providing an essential oil-tight seal to prevent gearbox fluid leaks.

Manufactured to OEM specifications, this O-ring ensures a precise fit and reliable sealing performance under gearbox operating temperatures and pressures. A worn or damaged seal can lead to leaks around the drive flange area, loss of transmission oil, and potential differential damage. Replacing both O-rings when servicing or rebuilding the gearbox is strongly recommended.

Each vehicle requires two O-rings—one for each output flange—and they are sold individually.
