This transmission is rebuilt by experienced VW gearbox specialists. Every unit is fully stripped, inspected, and reassembled using new bearings, seals, synchros, and other critical components as required. Gear sets and casings are carefully checked for wear and alignment before being reinstalled, guaranteeing a smooth shift and quiet operation once refitted.

Please note that gearboxes are built to order and not kept in stock. Average build time is 10–14 business days, although this may extend during busy periods such as summer months.

All reconditioned gearboxes are supplied on an exchange basis, meaning a £350 + VAT surcharge is applied to your order. This will be refunded once your old gearbox is returned in a fully reconditionable condition. Collection of your old unit is included in the UK mainland delivery cost.
