Baywindow Bus Clutch Cross Shaft - 1971-75

This replacement clutch operating shaft is suitable for all late Baywindow Buses (1970–1975) fitted with 1600cc, 1700cc, or 1800cc engines. Designed for models using 200mm, 210mm, or 215mm clutches, this version features the later-style design where the clutch release bearing has integrated clips, eliminating the need for separate retaining clips as seen on earlier systems.

The clutch operating shaft (or cross shaft) is a vital part of the clutch actuation mechanism, transmitting the motion from the pedal and cable to the release bearing. With age, the shaft and its bushes can wear, causing poor clutch engagement, stiffness, or excessive play. Replacing the shaft restores smooth and consistent clutch operation.
