Shift Rod Seal (Shift Rod To Nosecone) - T1, T3, KG (1968-79), T2 (1960-79), T25 (1979-82)

This shift rod seal—also known as the gearbox nose cone seal—fits at the front of the transmission nose cone and provides a tight seal around the gear selector rod. It prevents gearbox oil from escaping through the shift rod opening, helping maintain proper lubrication levels inside the transmission and keeping the surrounding area clean and dry.

Suitable for use on most classic Volkswagen models, including Beetle, Bus, Karmann Ghia, and Type 3, this replacement seal is essential during gearbox rebuilds or when oil leaks are noticed around the gear selector shaft.

Manufactured from durable, oil- and heat-resistant rubber, this seal matches the original VW dimensions for a perfect fit: 15mm inner diameter x 24mm outer diameter x 7mm thick.
