NGK BP6HS Spark Plug - 14mm Thread (Short Reach)

The NGK BP6HS is a short-reach spark plug ideally suited to standard or mildly tuned air-cooled Volkswagen engines fitted with cylinder heads that use a 12.7mm (½ inch) thread reach. This includes many stock Type 1 Beetle, Karmann Ghia, and early Type 2 and Type 3 engines, as well as numerous vintage and replacement cylinder heads.

With a medium-cold heat range (6), the BP6HS provides excellent protection against overheating while still ensuring reliable ignition under everyday driving and spirited use. The projected insulator design (P) improves combustion by placing the spark deeper into the chamber for efficient flame spread, better fuel burn, and smoother throttle response.
