This bolt is used to attach the rear gearbox cradle onto the framehorns on the chassis of all Swing Axle Beetles and Karmann Ghia's.

Two are required to install your rear cradle.

This gearbox cradle is located on the rear of the gearbox under the bell housing on all Pre 1971 Beetles and Karmann Ghias.

It is bolted onto the frame horns of the chassis and then the rear gearbox mounts are attached to the top.
