Specs

This Vintage Speed Stainless Steel Exhaust is for use on all Type 1 engines fitted to VW Beetles and Karmann Ghia`s.

For use on all 1300cc, 1500cc and 1600cc based Type 1 engines. Not for use on 1200cc models.

Tailpipes exit out of original tail pipe cut outs in rear valance.

This version is for use on twin carburettor set ups as it does not include heat risers on the heaser pipes. If you have a single carburettor then use part number VS15520305200PH.

Features:

Made from 304 grade stainless steel
Adjustable flanges for use on stroker or narrower engines (+/- 4mm)
Fibreglass fire sleeve on header pipes to protect air hoses.
Built in thread for a lambda sensor when tuning twin carburettors (M18x1.5)
Sport Muffler designed for up to 125BHP engines
50mm OD with 35mm ID tail pipes.

Hi does this have the pipes to connect to heat exchangers? Also how loud is it? I fitted a tri-mil 2 tip and it’s very loud!! would like to reduce noise.

This exhaust fits just like a standard exhaust. So it will mount to the cylinder heads and the heat exchangers exactly the same. Regarding the sound it is slightly louder than a standard exhaust but not too much.
