CSP Type 3 Front Disc Brake Conversion - 27mm Bearing - 5x205 PCD

The CSP disc brake system with 5×205 PCD is available since 1997 and is meanwhile tried and tested a thousand times! It is characterized by its tremendous reliability and the fact that it is TÜV approved!

The CSP disc brake is basically a hub/disc combination and its simple construction makes it applicable on most aircooled Volkswagens. The CNC machined cast alloy hubs accept discs made in Germany with a diameter of 282×9 mm through high-strength connecting elements. The modified calipers are also from a German mass production manufacturer.

Based on the unmodified axle components of the respective cars the CSP disc brakes are mounted to the original spindles by CNC machined adapters. There is no need to modify or alter the spindles, which makes it easy to swap back to the original drum brakes if requested.

A TÜV certification is available for all disc brake systems listed on this page. It is included in your order if it is of relevance in your country.

Every kit is complete with CNC machined cast alloy hubs with rotors and wheel bearings installed, CNC machined caliper brackets, new calipers with pads, stainless steel grease caps, stainless steel dust covers (if applicable), brake hoses and fitting instructions in English. Only the master cylinder has to be purchased separately, depending on the type of Volkswagen you use.

CAUTION: This disc brake system can only be used with drum brake spindles! There are also two different versions of drum brake spindles, one is for 27 mm diameter wheel bearings, the other one for 29 mm diameter wheel bearings.

Not for use with 14″ wheels or smaller diameter.
