Deluxe CSP Porsche Cooling Conversion Kit - Epoxy - Type 1 Engines

You can give any Type-1 engine that Porsche 911 look with this CSP Products Porsche-style cooling system, no matter if it is in a VW Beetle, Karmann Ghia (Type-14), Type-2 Bus (Split Screen or Bay Window) or Thing (Type-181)

The kit is very easy to install, no modifications or machining on the engine case are necessary. You just disassemble the old fan shroud, generator and generator stand, bolt the new parts on and that`s it

You can even use it with early Beetles, as the 240 mm fan doesn`t interfere with the lid

The set includes an epoxy or optional carbon fan shroud, a fan ring, a 240 mm alternator/fan unit, a stainless steel strap for the fan, an alternator stand, and an oil filler with breather fitting. And it comes of course with all necessary mounting hardware

Please note that a crankshaft pulley with 146 mm diameter (Power-Pulley) is required for this cooling system

These Pulleys are available separately in different styles.

The carbon fibre version is a weight-optimised motorsport part without surface finishing. It can show air bubbles due to the production method. There may be adjustment work necessary like with all glass fibre parts

Engineered for IDF carbs fitted to Type 1 engine with PORSCHE cooling system, the pushrod design of this linkage gives the big advantage to fit with nearly every manifold on the market.

The CNC manufactured stainless Steel Bellcrank has dual internal roller bearings for smooth operation. Left and right threaded Pushrods allow for easy adjustment

This VW Type-1 rear engine tin is made out of black dyed, glass fibre or super light carbon fibre.

For use on all Porsche 911-style fan shrouds it is supplied without cutouts for the heater hose. These have to be cut individually when needed.

The part is supplied with a separate pulley cover, also made of GRP or carbon fibre and allows the use of pulleys with a maximum diameter of 146 mm.

The carbon version is a weight-optimized motorsport part without surface finishing. It may have air bubbles due to the manufacturing process.

As with any glass fiber part, adaption work may be required.

The CSP Oil cooler Bypass Cover Plate offers CNC quality precision for Type-1 and Type-4 engines where the standard oil cooler is being bypassed or closed off. Ideally suited for engines with remote oil cooling or full flow oil systems.

The cover plate has been cleverly designed to suit all variations in engine cases. Whether your case has M6 or M8 fittings, the installation sets have all of the required fittings so that you don`t need to worry about this beforehand.

Manufactured from highstrength aluminium. Anodised for a long lasting finish.

Replacement fan belt for use on all aircooled VW`s fitted with a 146mm CSP Power Pulley.

Power pulleys are smaller in diameter than the standard pulley fitted to all 1200cc to 1600cc Type 1 aircooled VW engines.

This is the fan belt required when running a CSP Porsche Cooling Conversion on a Type 1 engine.

Made from high strength aluminium which is then black hard anodized this CSP crank pulley is 146mm in diameter and weighs just 390 grams.

The precise timing scale is laser engraved for long lasting looks.

This 146mm power pulley will not only decrease your engine weight but it will allow the crankshaft to turn faster and run at higher RPM`s therefore giving you more power.

The downside however is due to the reduced diameter over a standard sized pulley it will turn your cooling fan slower and therefore create a higher eninge running temperature.

This CSP pulley is manufactured in Germany to the original VW tolerances with a perfectly manufactured oil groove to reduce the chances of oil leaks at the pulley end of your engine.

This pulley is required when installing the CSP Type 1 Porsche engine conversion kit.
