This Gearbox Ring and Pinion was originally fitted into 1500cc and 1600cc gearboxes with a keyed 4th Gear.

It can be fitted into all early gearboxes with a keyed 4th Gear to increase the speed potential in all gears.

The ring gear has 31 teeth and the Pinion has 8 teeth. This ration gives a 3.875 (31 divided by 8).
