*NCA* Stainless Steel J Tubes - Type 1 Engines

These stainless steel J-Tubes can be used on all 1600cc Based engines fitted into VW Beetles, Karmann Ghia`s, Splitscreen and Baywindow Buses.

PLEASE NOTE: These will NOT fit Type 3 Notchbacks, Squarebacks or Fastbacks (but we do sell these versions if required).

J-Tubes can be used to replace your rotton heat exchangers at a low cost.  Although a direct replacement for heat exchangers you will of course loose your heating system in the car.

They are a popular upgrade for performance engines as they save a sufficient amount of weight over heat exchangers.

Fitted with a 4 into 1 header (sold seperately) they can increase the BHP of a standard 1600cc engine by around 6.5%.  If you were to then bolt a stinger onto a 4 into 1 header with J-Tubes you could end up with an increase in BHP of as much as 11%.

Sold as a pair of stainless steel J-Tubes without fittings or gaskets which must be purchased seperately.
