Beetle Master Cylinder - 1968-79 - LHD Dual Circuit - ATE

Replacement ATE dual circuit master cylinder for use on all left hand drive Beetles and Karmann Ghias from August 1968 to the end of production

Supplied with brake light switch

Quality: ATE

Fitment: Not for 1302 or 1303 models, see part number 113611015BH

Fitting: Left Hand Drive Only

Tips: If you are changing you master cylinder, some or all of the brake pipes may need to be re-routed. This is due to the port layout being different on the new master cylinder. When planning your brake line routing, be sure to fit the brake switch `below` the master cylinder centre line. Otherwise air can be trapped in the system which will make it difficult to bleed the brakes.

It is also VERY important that the end play of the brake pedal pushrod is adjusted correctly. Follow the factory specifications of 1mm endplay. The pushrod can be adjusted using the thread and lock-nut on the pushrod shaft. For some applications you may have to cut the pushrod down in length.
