CSP Crankcase Hardware Kit - Type 1 Engines

This hardware kit should be purchased together with every new Type-1 engine case. It is necessary to complete the engine case and to make it fit the different configurations, depending on which air-cooled car the motor is build for.

The kit contains not only oil pressure valves and other needed parts, but also the block off plate for the Type-3 oil pick-up tube plus the different studs and adapters for various oil coolers. This CSP engine case hardware kit contains all parts listed in the orginal spare parts catalogue.

To meet today`s requirements we added longer studs for 30 mm oil pumps and studs with a length of 95 mm. They must be used, when the engine will be mated to a later 091 Bus gearbox, as used in Type-2`s from `76 onwards.

For this kit we only use parts from our own production or products from German suppliers to guarantee a constant quality standard.

• 1 gasket for Type-3 pick-up tube
• 1 CSP Products stainless steel block off plate for Type-3 pick-up tube
• 2 CSP Products pistons for oil pressure and oil pressure relief valve

• 1 spring for oil pressure valve
• 2 CSP Products plug screws for oil pressure and oil pressure relief valve for 8 mm hexagon wrench
• 2 O-rings for plug screws for oil pressure and oil pressure relief valve
• 2 hexnuts M8
• 2 spring washers M8
• 4 studs for oil pump 21/26 mm
• 2 studs for fuel pump 1 stud for oil cooler M8
• 1 stud for oil cooler M8/M6
