Scat C85 Camshaft - Type 1 Engines (Clearanced For Stroker Engines)

Performance camshaft from Scat that can be fitted to any performance engine based around a 1200cc to 1600cc Type 1 aircooled engine

These camshafts will require a 3 bolt cam wheel (sold separately) and will fit with pre 1971 style oil pumps only

11 models are available with 108 degree lobe centres to give different performance gains.

Street camshafts for use with 1.1:1 and 1.25:1 Rockers

C20 = Duration – 277 degrees, Lift – 0.320″ (low to mid range power)

C25 = Duration – 272 degrees, Lift – 0.332″ (low end torque)

C35 = Duration – 246 degrees, Lift – 0.381″ (all round power)

C45 = Duration – 298 degrees, Lift – 0.390″ (hi end power, use with dual springs only)

Competition Camshafts are stroke relieved and are for use with 1.25:1 and 1.40:1 Rockers

C45C = Duration – 298 degrees, Lift – 0.390″ ((hi end power, use with dual springs only)

C95 = Duration – 294 degrees, Lift – 0.416″ (Wide power band and good acceleration)

C55 = Duration – 310 degrees, Lift – 0.410″ (mid to high RPM power)

C65 = Duration – 309 degrees, Lift – 0.413″ (for heavy cars with high RPM)

Drag Racer Camshafts are stroke relieved and are for use with 1.40:1 and 1.50:1 Rockers

C89 = Duration – 318 degrees, Lift – 0.410″ (Heavy drag cars with large tyres)

C85 = Duration – 324 degrees, Lift – 0.409″ (light drag cars with large tyres)

C75 = Duration – 322 degrees, Lift – 0.425″ (more lift and duration for big power)
