We have now changed the quality of our 'super chrome' bumpers to 'original' chrome bumpers. After years of a crying market for serious chrome bumpers at a reasonable price we decided we had to step up and suit the needs of this high potential market.
We started with the raw materials and chose a good quality steel in a higher thickness than previous reproduction bumpers to match the original bumper. We then teamed up with one of Europe's premium chrome plants. They even used to chrome bumpers for Volkswagen in the past. The result is mind blowing. The Chrome is deep shiny and super straight with no polishing marks. This is the result from a very sophisticated automatically production process coupled to a very sharp end control of the product.
To ensure the chrome quality, our chrome is regularly submitted to Salt Spray tests for no less as 240 hours! This is fully to the norms of the leading car manufacturers of today. No wonder 'our' chroming plant gets orders from almost all car manufacturers in Europe.
Finally we wrap the bumper into brown crepe paper, from the time era where plastic was hardly inexistent. This wrap gives maximum protection during handling, storage or transport. To get maximum protection and to create the look from a 21st century production we tie a plastic transparent hose over the wrapped bumper, which helps to protect the bumper from rain or road/ocean waters during transport. |
