This 1974 Westfalia is a rust free import from California. After checking this van out it is one solid bus. We can’t find any rot or rust anywhere. It has however suffered a couple of dents in transit over from the USA. The front panel has a dent in it under the spare wheel mounted on the front and the off side rear wing has also got a little damage.
It still has all its lights intact including 4 side reflectors. This bus features two westfalia louvered windows in and one is complete with a fly screen. The nearside rear window also features an opening quarter light.
Inside you will find a fully functioning rock and roll full width bed although the cushions do need upholstering. Inside also features a sink, cool box, extending table and wardrobe.
The pop top features a full width bunk giving you a 4 birth campervan. The pop top canvas has just been replaced with a new heavy duty version as the original was ripped and rotten. The pop top also includes 2 roof bars for mounting your surfboard etc to the roof.
The van is wired with an electric hook up for camping but this has not been tested.
The engine is a fully reconditioned 2008 TES 1800cc Type 4 engine with a Weber 32/36 progressive carburetor conversion.
