(First fitted to Type 4 cars, but more commonly found in late Bay Window and Early T25 buses. They featured twin carbs, a fan mounted on the crankshaft and the exhaust ports on the underside of the heads).
Engines are supplied with an oil filter (with mounting bracket) oil cooler and fan hub. Exchange units must be returned with these parts on or your surcharge refund will be reduced. They are generally fitted with new cylinder heads.
PLEASE NOTE 1: Due to the rarity of certain key components we are no longer able to produce 1700cc units, but we offer 1800cc replacements at no extra cost.
