Due to the amazing response we've had over the years from all our customers we were desperate to obtain any extra and very rare space that the organisers could make available. So we are very pleased to announce that we will have our very own Cool Air area exclusive to us and our customers. More information on the location and how to find us will be on the website shortly when we finish our "Volksworld Show 2009" page which will have all the event information with Maps on how to find the venue plus our new room within the main arena and any special offers and events that we intend to offer over the weekend as well. So make sure you don't miss out on any of the action on what promises to be our best ever Volksworld Show! http://www.volksworld.com/vwshow.html HALLOWEEN SALE DAY 2008 We have just had our first Halloween Sale Day! and what a success, we'd just like to thank everyone who came along to join in the fun and benefit from the crazy discounts that where on offer. The extra activities set up this year all went down well, Fancy Dress, Pin the Badge on the Camper, Bat the Rat, Colour in Camper Vans and Spooky Face Masks plus Congratulations to Ferg Ranson who won our £100 shopping spree prize from the Guess the amount of Fuses in the Jar game! We would also like to thank all those who helped set up for the day and provide hot food and drinks to all who came, also Andy from Alabama Tyres for coming down and offering customers the chance to have tyres fitted while they wait to any of the wheels that they purchased. See you at our next Spring Sale Day in 2009! NEW OPENING HOURS As from Monday 17th of September 2007 Cool Air will now be open an extra hour every week day. We will now be open from 8.30am until 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Saturdays hours will remain unchanged (10.00am until 4.00pm). VANFEST 2007 After 2 weeks of preperation and a lot of late nights we were finally ready for one of the biggest shows in the UK's VW Calander. To be honest the journey to the show was not the most uneventful! Within 5 miles from Cool Air I found myself at the side of the M25 with a rear tyre blow out in the Cool Air Works van. 2 hours later I managed to get on my way and meet up with the rest of the convoy at Reading Services on the M4. We then carried on to Vanfest without any problems. Setting up was not to bad. About 7 hours in total. Quicker than usual. We must be getting better at this. Both Saturday and Sunday brought beautiful weather with glorious blue skies and sizzeling sunshine. I must admit that in the 6 years that I have attended Vanfest both through work and pleasure I don't think I have ever seen it so busy. The shear volume of people attending was unbeliveable. A top show. Definately a show to highlight on your VW calander for next year. AUGUST 2007 The summer is in fact the season that everybody looks forward to for almost 9 months and then it suddenly starts. Incredible! I wish you all many sunny days, sultry evenings on nice terraces, pleasant barbecues and many cosy Volkswagen shows. I hope we’ll see each other at one of the numerous shows! The feedback from our customers and distributors are vitally important for us. It leads to an immediate improvement of the quality of the products, and that will benefit everyone. So if something is wrong, doesn’t fit or can be improved, please contact us immediately. We will try to undertake everything possible and we’ll let you know the results. I have been hard at work for the past 7 months re-developing Cool Air from the inside out. This has included new offices for the sales staff with a brand new computer system, a new larger more efficent goods in and dispatch area, a brand new two tier stores with new racking and larger parts bins. And then onto the new showroom. A 3000 sq ft showroom has been designed and built to accomedate large parts displays and various vehicles for sale. This again is being built over two levels. Although the showroom is not quite finished it is now open to the public, so next time you are in the area why not pop in and have a look. The front entrance is still to be sorted but there is still access to the showroom through the offices at the side of the building. Once the showroom is completely finished we will be having an open day but this to be honest will probably happen now at some point next year. See you soon Rob
