Beetle IRS Rear Axle Spacer Kit

Heavy duty rear axle spacer kit designed for IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) Volkswagen and Porsche applications. This complete 6 piece kit replaces the original rear axle spacers found within the rear hub and wheel bearing assembly and is ideal for standard rebuilds, performance use, and off-road applications where reliability is critical.

Under hard cornering, off-road use, larger wheels, or high horsepower applications, worn or damaged original spacers can cause premature wheel bearing wear, axle movement, hub play, and unreliable rear suspension operation. Replacing the spacers during rear wheel bearing servicing is strongly recommended to maintain correct bearing preload and axle alignment.

Manufactured from durable hardened steel, these spacers are designed to cope with the increased stresses found in performance Beetles, Bajas, off-road cars, and Porsche applications. Suitable for both road and competition use.

This complete kit contains all six required rear axle spacers for both sides of the vehicle.
