The 44 IDF is truly the mileage champ, they are factory equipped with 28mm venturies that help provide a terrific combination of fuel economy and performance.
The Weber IDF series will fit comfortably under the deck lid of Bugs, Vans and Squarebacks. Smaller 1600cc and 1776cc engines will benefit from the increased port velocity and enhanced engine torque produced.
The 44 and 48 IDF's move you into serious power range, this is where you start thinking about stroker cranks and performance heads in order to maximize the increased flow of the webers.
