• Can be fitted to pre 1960 vehicles, but would require a post 1960 pitman arm

There are a range of these couplings on the market and we have tried them all.  But the only version that we would be happy to fit on our own cars is this German Quality SGF steering coupling.

If you want a cheaper version or a urethane version then just ask but believe us when we say this is the only quality to fit.

This 8mm bolt is 35mm long, with a 13mm head and a 1.25mm thread pitch.  The tensile strength of this bolt is 8.8.  It can be used for various applications including:

• T1 steering flange lower bolt
• T1 steering coupling bolt
• T2 steering coupling flange upper bolt (chassis number 2142164060>)
• T25 85-92 silencer bracket to engine plate bolt (waterboxer)

Fully Threaded Bolt (Set Screw)

This 10mm bolt is 48mm long, with a 17mm head and a 1.5mm thread pitch.  It has a tensile strength of 8.8.  it can be used for various applications including:

• Beetle steering box clamp bolt (1964 to 1979)
• 1302 and 1303 front strut bolt (three bolt fixing, >chassis 133-3200-000)
