The Ignitor 2 is the upgraded electronic ignition system from Pertronix which features trouble free installation (no worries about earthing the unit on the tinware by mistake and a safety cut out if you wire it up to the wrong terminals on the coil, unfortunately a common installation error on the Ignitor 1 which results in a damaged unit). Also it can handle the much more powerful Flamethrower 2 coil for an exceptional spark.
