Type 25 Bus Products

The Type 25 is just one of many names for these models of buses.   In 1980 VW stopped major production of the Bay Window 'T2' buses and introduced the 'T25' (often known as the 'T3' outside of the UK). Like the earlier buses, they had an engine to the rear, but had a far squarer appearance, which led to their nickname of 'The Wedge'.

They were produced under various model names, of which the most prevalent was the 'Caravelle' - a camper van with a high-spec interior produced from the end of 1981. Other model names for T25 variations included Vanagon, Multivan and Transporter.
